Make a block members-only or sell it once

Put a block behind your membership plans, sell it as a one-time unlock, or keep it free for everyone.

Any link, video or community on your portal can earn for you. Lock it to your members, sell it as a one-time unlock, or do both at once.

💡 Quick answer: open the block and click Set up under Monetize this content (or the $ button, Monetize, on the block's header). Pick your plans or a one-time price, confirm, then press Save all.

Open the block

Click Portal designer in the left sidebar (on a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first). On the Portal tab, click the pencil (edit) button on the block you want to charge for.

Click Set up

Click Set up under Monetize this content. The Access & pricing window opens.

Choose who can view it

Choose who can view it (see the options below) and confirm.

Press Save all

Press Save all to put it live.

Membership plans

Subscribers on any plan you tick. Pick one plan or several.

Public (Free for everyone)

Everyone. No plan, no payment.

Pay to unlock (One-time purchase)

Anyone who pays your price once, for lifetime access to just this block.

Plans and Pay to unlock work together: members get it with their plan, and everyone else can buy it on its own. The line at the bottom of the window sums up exactly who will have access.

⚠️ Heads up: to sell anything once, set up payouts first: click Payouts in the left sidebar, then Set up payouts. You don't need a plan: with no plans yet, the window shows a No plans yet note with a Create a plan link, and you can still turn on Pay to unlock and set a price.

⚙️ Which blocks can earn

  • Members-only: every block except Title, Text, Slogan, Button and Divider, which always stay public. To make writing members-only, put it in a post.

  • Sell once: Link, Discord, Telegram, Collection, Picture, Audio and Video.

  • Gallery items follow the gallery's access, so set it on the gallery itself.

💡 Tips

  • Turn on Only show in Plans tab to keep a members-only block off your main page. Subscribers find it in their plan instead.

  • Check what fans see: above the phone preview, switch from You to Visitor. Locked blocks show as teasers.

  • Posts and courses use the same Access & pricing window, so it works the same way everywhere.
