Alo AI is the assistant built into your portal designer. Tell it what you want in plain words and it builds it on your portal while you watch. You stay in charge: everything it does is a draft until you save.
✨ Quick answer: on the Creator side, open Portal designer and click Build with Alo under the phone preview on the right. Type something like "add an FAQ for my coaching offers", review the result, then press Save all.

On the Creator side (the Creator / Member switch is at the bottom of the left sidebar), click Portal designer in the sidebar.
Click Build with Alo
On a computer, click Build with Alo under the phone preview on the right. The chat opens beside your page. (In a post you're writing, the same button reads Write with Alo.)

On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left to reach Portal designer, then tap Alo AI in the bottom bar.
🚀 What Alo AI can do
Build your page: add, edit, move and remove blocks.
Design it: ask for a vibe like "dark and minimal" and it restyles your theme.
Polish your profile: your name, bio and social links, in your voice.
Write posts: draft and edit posts with you, or turn a video from your library into a post.
Build courses: an outline first, then sections, lessons and a sales page. It asks for your yes before writing lessons.
Set up offers: draft membership plans, one-time offers, prices and trials for you to review.
Import your content: paste a public link, like your blog or old link-in-bio page, and it rebuilds it as blocks or a post. See Bring over your old link page or website.
Use your YouTube videos: type /youtube to pick one of your videos and add it to a post, a lesson or your page, or use it as a cover. Paste any YouTube link and it adds that video. If you've connected YouTube by signing in with Google, it can also watch one of your own videos and write from it, after you approve the credits. See Use your YouTube videos with Alo AI.
🔒 You stay in control
Drafts until you save: changes to your page, design and plans wait in the save bar, which shows how many came from Alo AI. Press Save all to keep them or Discard to drop them.
Undo one thing: every change in the chat has its own undo button.
Asks before removing: Alo AI doesn't remove sections you've already saved unless you ask it to. If it thinks some look like leftovers, it names them in the chat and waits for your yes.
You publish: posts, lessons and courses it writes stay drafts until you publish them yourself.
Easy to spot: anything Alo AI made carries a small Alo AI mark until you edit it yourself.
✅ Good to know: Alo AI never touches your payouts, Stripe, payment details or account settings, never moves money, and never deletes a plan. Existing subscribers always keep their price.
💳 Credits
Alo AI runs on credits. A typical edit costs a few credits, and you're only charged when something actually gets done. The ⚡ meter in the panel shows what's left.
Your monthly credits reset on the 1st and don't roll over. New accounts also get a one-time welcome bonus of 400 credits. Need more? Click the ⚡ meter and choose 450 credits for $5 or 1,400 credits for $15. Extra credits never expire and are used before your monthly ones. More in Alo AI credits and top-ups.
⚠️ Heads up: discarding Alo AI's work doesn't give credits back, so review before you discard.
🛠️ Your first build
At the end of setup you can build your portal with Alo AI or build it yourself. With Alo AI, it already knows your answers from setup, so you only add a line about what you do.
Keep it & continue saves your page, design and first plan together.
Start over lets you rebuild with new answers (this uses credits again) or build it yourself instead.
If the build stops part-way, what's already there stays. You can try again, keep what's there, or finish it yourself.
💡 Tips for great results
Talk to it like a teammate: "make my portal feel more premium" works better than one word.
Give it your material: paste links, pick videos, mention your offers.
Use the tab that fits the job: page and design on Portal, writing on Posts, lessons on Courses.

Anything that isn't allowed on AloPortal: sexual content, hate or harassment, illegal goods, harmful health or money advice, misleading offers (fake reviews, fake scarcity, guaranteed income) or someone else's work passed off as yours. Alo AI pauses until your credits renew on the 1st. Anything already saved or drafted stays put. A credit pack or Pro gets it going again right away.
