As an ambassador, you earn a share of what AloPortal keeps from every creator you refer. Here's exactly what that means, with real numbers.

✨ Quick answer: you currently earn 50% of what AloPortal keeps from your creators: their AloPortal plan and AloPortal's fee on their fans' purchases. It lasts for as long as they stay. Tips don't count.

AloPortal pays your share from its own revenue. It never reduces what your creators earn.

📊 Examples: their plan

Creators who join through your link and start a plan within 30 days pay 10% less for as long as they stay subscribed, so these examples use that price. Stripe's costs on a plan payment from a US card are 3.6% + $0.35, and the rest is split 50/50. Here's what you earn on each payment:

A creator who starts their plan after the 30 days pays the full price, so you earn a little more on them: for example $13.80 on a Basic month and $47.54 on a Pro month. A card from outside the US costs a little more to process, so it earns a little less.

AloPortal's platform fee depends on your creator's plan. On a $10 fan purchase:

So you start earning as soon as your creator makes their first sale, even during their free trial.

⏳ How long it lasts

For as long as the creator stays with AloPortal. There's no 12-month cap and no rate that fades over time.
If they change plans, you keep earning on whatever they pay.
If they cancel, payments stop, so your earnings from them pause. If they come back, they're still yours.

⚠️ Heads up: if a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is reversed. You only ever earn on money AloPortal actually keeps.

Where can I see this for my own plans and rate?

Switch to the Member side with the Creator / Member toggle at the bottom of the left sidebar, click Ambassador, then click How you earn on your invite link card. It shows the breakdown for every current plan at your rate.

Can the rate change?

AloPortal sets the rate and may change it under the program terms. The rate on each commission is the one in place when it was earned.

What currency are commissions in?

The currency of the payment they came from. Your Payouts page on the Member side groups your balance by currency.
