Share your portal link

Your portal lives at aloportal.com/your-link. Here's how to share it, add it to your bio and polish its preview.

Your portal has one link that holds everything you offer. Put it in your bio, your posts and your messages, and your audience always knows where to find you.

💡 Quick answer: your link is aloportal.com/your-link. Click the share icon next to the link in the portal designer, or Share portal on your dashboard, to copy it or share it anywhere.

Open the share sheet

Click Portal designer in the left sidebar (on a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first), then the share icon next to your link (aloportal.com/your-link) at the top of the page. Or click Share portal on your Dashboard.

Press Copy

Press Copy to copy your link.

Or share it now

Or tap a tile under Share now: WhatsApp, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram, Email, or More for your phone's own share menu.

Tap QR code

Tap QR code to show a code people can scan to open your portal.

🚀 Add it to your bio

In the same share sheet, Add to your bio walks you through Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Pinterest step by step, with a button that opens the app for you.

⚙️ Polish your preview

When your link is shared in a chat or on social media, it shows a preview card with your photo, title and a short description. To change it:

Open Sharing card

In Portal designer, click the gear button (Portal settings) and open the Sharing card tab. On a phone, tap Settings in the bottom bar instead. You can also click the gear on the card in the share sheet.

Set a title and description

Set a Title and a Description (up to 120 characters).

Pick a background color

Pick a Background color, or match your portal theme.

Upload a custom banner

On Pro, upload a Custom banner (1200 × 630 works best) to use your own image.

✅ Good to know: apps like Instagram and WhatsApp keep old previews for a while, so a new card can take some time to show up there.

In Portal designer, click the gear button (Portal settings), or tap Settings in the bottom bar on a phone. On the Portal tab, edit Portal link and press Save all. Links use 3 to 30 lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and we check that yours is available as you type.

⚠️ Heads up: you can change your link once every 30 days. Your old link sends visitors to the new one for up to 1 year, and nobody else can claim it for 90 days. Update your bios and printed QR codes soon after you change it.

Yes. Your portal is public as soon as you finish setup. Changes you make in the portal designer stay private until you press Save all.
