Publish, update and schedule a course
Put your course live, schedule its launch on Pro, release lessons over time and publish updates safely.

Your course stays private while you build it. When you're ready, one button puts it live, and later updates wait quietly until you publish them too.
💡 Quick answer: press Publish course in the course builder, check the review, then press Publish course again to go live.
🚀 Publish your course
Open your course
Click Courses in the left sidebar (on a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first) and open your course. Press Publish course at the top of the builder.
Check the review
Ready to publish? shows your course title, what goes live, who can take it and the course link. You can edit the title and link right there.
Publish now
Under When, keep Publish now and confirm. Your course appears on your portal.
Only lessons with a title and some content go live. Empty or untitled lessons stay drafts, and the review lists them so nothing surprises you. Your subscribers who can take the course get a notification on AloPortal the first time it goes live.
⚙️ Schedule the launch (Pro)
On Pro, choose Schedule for later in the review and pick a date and time. Your course stays a draft and goes live on its own within 15 minutes of that time, even if you're offline.
The status pill then shows Scheduled with the date. Click it to change the date, publish now or Cancel the schedule.
🛠️ Update a live course
Edit lessons and your course page as much as you like. Changes save as drafts, and the status reads Published · changes not live.
Press Publish changes when you're ready. Students keep seeing the published version until then.
Changed your mind? Choose Discard changes from the ⋯ menu to go back to the published version.
Need an earlier version of a lesson? Open it, choose Version history from the ⋯ menu, pick a version and press Restore selected.
✅ Good to know: students already enrolled get a notification when you publish new lessons.
⚙️ Release lessons over time
In the course outline, open a lesson's ⋯ menu and choose Release date:
Release immediately: open as soon as it's published.
On a date: locked for everyone until a date and time you pick.
Days after enrollment: each student's clock starts when they join, great for weekly lessons.
To make students finish lessons in order, click Settings at the top of the builder (on a phone, it's in the ⋯ menu) and turn on Lessons unlock in order. Free preview lessons always stay open.
🚀 Tell your subscribers
Once the course is live, choose Email from the builder's ⋯ menu (or Email subscribers in your course list). Subscribers who can take the course get the title, a short description and a link, never the lessons.
⚠️ Heads up: each course can be emailed once, and every email counts toward your plan's monthly email sends. See Plan limits for your allowance.

Open Courses in the sidebar, open the course's ⋯ menu and choose Unpublish. It's hidden from your portal and enrolled students lose access until you publish again. Nothing is deleted.

Archive hides the course and keeps it safe; choose Restore any time to bring it back as a draft. Delete removes the course and all its lessons for good.

Yes. Open Courses in the sidebar and choose Pin to portal from the course's ⋯ menu. Pinned courses show first on your portal's courses tab, and you can pin up to 3.
