Every AloPortal plan comes with generous allowances for Alo AI, video, email and storage. Here's what your plan includes and what happens as you get close to a limit.

The free trial covers your first 3 months, before you choose Basic or Pro. Monthly allowances (Alo AI credits, minutes watched and email sends) reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). Video stored and storage are running totals: they don't reset, they go down when you remove things.

💡 What each limit means

Alo AI credits: what Alo AI uses when it builds, edits, writes or watches one of your YouTube videos for you. Bigger requests use more credits. Since October 4, 2026, each action uses about twice as many credits as before; the allowances above did not change. Credit packs are 450 credits for $5 or 1,400 credits for $15. A YouTube video longer than Alo AI can watch can still be added to a post, lesson or your page by its link.
Video stored: the total length of all the videos you've uploaded, across posts, courses, your profile video and course trailers. Video sections that play a YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or Wistia link don't count. A video you remove stops counting right away; we keep it for 30 days in case you change your mind, then delete it for good.
Minutes watched: the total time your members and visitors spend watching your videos this month.
Email sends: each email that goes out when you send a broadcast or email a post or course to your members.
File and image storage: images, files and downloads you upload. Video is counted separately.

⚙️ When you get close to a limit

We let you know at 75%, 90% and 100% of each limit: in your dashboard every time, and by email at 90% and 100%.

✅ Good to know: email is never a wall. Even past 100%, your broadcasts and post emails keep reaching your members.

🛠️ See your usage

Open the Subscription tab

On the Creator side, click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Subscription tab. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first to see the sidebar.

Find Usage this month

Find the Usage this month card. It shows a meter for video stored, minutes watched, storage, email sends and Alo AI credits.

Top up or change plan

Add a top-up, buy credits or change your plan right from the card.

❓ Questions

Does a top-up carry over to next month?

No. A top-up adds to your allowance for the calendar month you buy it in. Credit packs are different: those credits never expire.

Will my page stop working if I go over?

Never. Your page, your videos and your emails keep working. At most, new uploads wait until you free up space, add a top-up, move to Pro or the month resets.
