How your 3-month free trial works, adding a card, and what happens on day 90.

Welcome to AloPortal! Every new creator starts with a free 3-month trial, so you can build your portal and start selling before you pay us anything.

✨ Quick answer: your trial is free for 3 months. We take 15% of what you sell and nothing else. Add a card any time and your chosen plan starts on day 90.

🚀 What's included

Everything in Basic: sell memberships, products, courses, posts and tips.
Up to 3 membership plans and your own affiliate program.
No monthly price. Just 15% of your sales while the trial runs.

🛠️ Add a card

You can add a card when you sign up, or any time later:

Open Subscription settings

On the Creator side, click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Subscription tab. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first to see the sidebar.

Pick your plan

In the Your free trial card, pick the plan you want after the trial: Basic or Pro.

Add your card

Enter your card and click Add my card.

✅ Good to know: nothing is charged until day 90. Changed your mind? Click Cancel plan on the same page before then and nothing is charged at all.

💳 What happens on day 90

Your chosen plan starts and your card is charged: Basic at $29 a month plus 4% of sales, or Pro at $99 a month plus 2%. Your fee drops from 15% straight away.	Your portal turns read-only. Your page stays live and keeps selling at 15%, and your members keep their access. Editing, uploads, Alo AI and broadcasts pause until you choose a plan.

If your card is declined on day 90, you stay on your trial (still 15%, with editing on) while Stripe tries the payment again over the following days. We email you and show a notice in your dashboard, so you can update your card with Manage billing in Settings → Subscription. Your portal turns read-only only if Stripe stops retrying and the payment still hasn't gone through.

⚠️ Heads up: we'll remind you along the way, with emails and dashboard notices on days 30, 60, 75 and 83, and a billing notice two days before your trial ends.

💡 Basic or Pro?

Basic ($29 a month + 4%) has everything you need to run your creator business.
Pro ($99 a month + 2%) adds unlimited membership plans, premium looks, scheduling, your own email domain, ad pixels and more.

Already added a card for Basic and want Pro instead? Tap any Pro feature and click Choose Pro. Pro then starts when your trial ends.

Can I skip ahead to a paid plan before day 90?

Not right now. Your trial always runs its full 3 months, and the plan you chose starts on day 90.

I chose Pro but want Basic after all. What do I do?

Message us from Help & feedback before your trial ends and we'll switch it for you.

What if I miss day 90?

Nothing is lost. Your page keeps selling and your members keep their access. Choose a plan in Settings → Subscription whenever you're ready and editing comes back straight away.
