Send broadcasts to your audience
Write an email, choose who gets it, preview and test it, then send now or schedule it on Pro.

Broadcasts let you email the people who asked to hear from you: your mailing list, your members, a single plan or your course students. Announce something new, share news, or welcome people back.
✨ Quick answer: on the Creator side, open Broadcasts in the left sidebar, click New broadcast, write your subject and message, click Save draft, pick an audience, then click Send to.
🛠️ Write and send a broadcast
Open Broadcasts
On the Creator side (the Creator / Member switch is at the bottom of the left sidebar), click Broadcasts in the sidebar. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first. Then click New broadcast.
Write your message
Add a Subject and your Message. Write it the way you'd write to one person.
Save the draft
Click Save draft. You can now preview, test and send.
Choose your audience
Choose your audience. Each option shows how many people it reaches.
Preview and test
Click Preview to see it exactly as it will arrive, and Send test to me to get a copy in your own inbox.
Send it
Click Send to and confirm with Send now.
🚫 Careful: once a broadcast is sent, it can't be recalled or edited. Send yourself a test first.
Want a little formatting? Use **bold**, *italic*, [link text](https://…) and a dash for bullets. Images and attachments aren't supported yet.
⚙️ Choose your audience
To grow your opted-in list, turn on email sign-up for your portal. See Collect email signups and leads.
⏰ Schedule it for later (Pro)
On Pro, save your draft, pick a date and time under Send later, then click Schedule. Changed your mind? Click Cancel next to the scheduled time and it goes back to a draft. On other plans you can always send right away.
You can keep editing a scheduled broadcast. Click Save changes and it still goes out at the time you picked. To move it, pick a new time and click Reschedule. To send it now instead, cancel the schedule first.
⚠️ Heads up: if a broadcast couldn't go out, it shows as failed with a short note saying why, so you know what to fix before you try again.
📊 See how it did
Open a sent broadcast to see how many emails went out, how many people opened and clicked, and any sales made within 7 days of someone clicking. People who unsubscribed or whose address can't take mail are listed as "skipped": they didn't get it, and they aren't counted as sent. Then:
Send similar copies it into a new draft.
Nudge non-openers starts a follow-up for people who didn't open it.
⚠️ Heads up: open counts are approximate. Some email apps never report opens, so the real number is often higher.
💳 Your monthly email sends
Each email that goes out from a broadcast counts toward your monthly email sends, along with emails you send for a post or course. Receipts, test sends and skipped emails never count. You can see your meter on the Creator side: click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Subscription tab, under Usage this month.
✅ Good to know: your emails always go out, even past your allowance. We'll let you know at 75%, 90% and 100%. See Plan limits for each plan's allowance.

How do people unsubscribe?
How do people unsubscribe?
Every broadcast includes an unsubscribe link for your emails only. Once someone unsubscribes, they stop getting all your broadcasts, including the ones to members, but they still get receipts and other emails about their membership. Leaving your list doesn't affect other creators they follow. You'll see who unsubscribed under Dashboard → Mailing list.
Can my emails come from my own name or domain?

Yes, on Pro. You can set your sender name, a reply-to address and even your own domain. On other plans, the sender box under your broadcast says your emails go from the shared AloPortal address, with an "Upgrade to Pro" link. See Brand your emails and send from your own domain.

You can delete any draft or scheduled broadcast with the trash icon. Sent broadcasts stay as a record.
