Your first sale checklist

Four steps from a fresh portal to your first paying fan: payouts, a plan, something to unlock, and your link.

Ready to earn? Four short steps take you from a fresh portal to your first paying fan. Most creators finish them in under half an hour.

💡 Quick answer: set up payouts, create a plan, give members something to unlock, then share your link. The Get your first subscriber checklist on your Dashboard ticks off your plan, your payouts and sharing your portal as you go.

🛠️ 1. Set up payouts

Nothing can sell until Stripe knows where to send your money.

Click Set up payouts

Click Payouts in the left sidebar (on a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first), then click Set up payouts.

Give Stripe your details

Stripe asks for your identity and bank details. It takes about five minutes.

Wait for payouts to turn on

When Stripe has checked your details, the page shows Payouts are on.

🛠️ 2. Create a plan

Click Create your first plan

Click Portal designer in the left sidebar and switch to the Plans tab above your page, then click Create your first plan. (Or click Create a plan in the checklist on your Dashboard.) If you see Set up payouts there instead, do step 1 first.

Set name, price and cycle

Give it a Plan name, a Price and a Billing cycle (Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Every 6 months or Yearly). For lifetime access, switch from Recurring to One-time.

Describe it and save

Add a short description of what members get, then press Save all.

✅ Good to know: you can change your plan any time. Optional extras like a free trial, a setup fee or a maximum number of subscribers are in the same editor.

🔒 3. Give members something to unlock

Fans pay for what's behind the door. Pick one or two to start:

  • A members-only block: a link, a video, a Discord or Telegram community. Open the block and click Set up under Monetize this content.

  • A members-only post or course: click the access pill at the top of the post or course editor and tick your plan.

  • Something sold on its own: in the same Access & pricing window, turn on Pay to unlock and set a one-time price.

🚀 4. Share your link

Click Share portal on your dashboard, or the share icon next to your link in the portal designer. Put your link in your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube bio, and post about what members get.

Yes. In Portal designer, click the gear button (Portal settings), or tap Settings in the bottom bar on a phone. On the Portal tab, turn on Accept tips and press Save all. Fans can then send a one-time tip. You can also sell single blocks, posts or courses with Pay to unlock.

Check Payouts. Until Stripe has verified your details, checkout stays closed.
