Change, pause or cancel your membership

Switch plans, take a break for up to three months, or cancel. You keep access until the end of what you paid for.

Your membership works around you. You can switch to another plan, take a break, or cancel whenever you like, all from your account.

✨ Quick answer: on the Member side, go to Settings → Memberships and tap the creator. You'll see Change plan, Pause membership and Cancel membership.

🛠️ Get to your membership

Sign in to AloPortal. You land on the Member side, on Home (also a creator? Switch with the Creator / Member toggle at the bottom of the left sidebar).

Open Memberships

Click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Memberships tab. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first.

Tap the creator

Tap the creator under Active memberships.

🛠️ Switch plans

Tap Change plan

On your membership, tap Change plan. This opens the creator's plans page.

Choose the new plan

Choose the new plan and check the price breakdown.

Confirm the switch

Tap Upgrade or Switch plan, then confirm.

Change	What happens
Upgrade	Starts now. You pay today, minus credit for the time left on your current plan.
Smaller plan	Nothing to pay today. You switch at the end of your billing period and keep your current plan until then.

Changed your mind about a scheduled switch? Tap Change plan again, then Keep current plan.

⏸️ Take a break

On your membership, tap Pause membership, choose 1, 2 or 3 months, and tap Pause membership again to confirm. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, then billing stops and your membership picks back up on its own. You keep your current price.

⚠️ Heads up: while paused, members-only content is locked. Tap Resume membership any time to come back early.

🛠️ Cancel

Tap Cancel membership

On your membership, tap Cancel membership.

Confirm cancelling

Tell us why if you like (it's optional), then tap Cancel membership again.

You won't be charged again, and you keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. We'll email you to confirm.

✅ Good to know: cancelled by mistake? Tap Resume membership before the end date and everything carries on as before.

❓ Questions

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Cancelling stops future payments. Payments already made aren't refunded automatically, and refunds are up to the creator. See Receipts, purchase history and refunds.

How do I join again after my membership ended?

Go back to the creator's portal and join again, just like the first time.

The creator stopped offering my plan.
