Emails and notifications from creators

Choose what you hear about, and unsubscribe from one creator's emails without missing the rest.

You decide how much you hear from the creators you follow. Here's how to tune your notifications and stop emails you don't want.

✨ Quick answer: to stop a creator's emails, tap Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email from them. It only affects that one creator.

Open an email from the creator

Open any update or newsletter email from the creator.

Tap Unsubscribe

Scroll to the bottom and tap Unsubscribe.

See the confirmation

That's it. You'll see a page confirming you've been unsubscribed from this creator's emails.

This stops all of that creator's update emails, including the ones they send only to members. Other creators you follow aren't affected, and you don't need to sign in.

✅ Good to know: receipts, payment notices and other essential emails about your account keep coming, so you never miss something about your money or your access.

⚙️ Notification settings

Sign in to AloPortal

Sign in to AloPortal. You land on the Member side (also a creator? Switch with the Creator / Member toggle at the bottom of the left sidebar).

Open Notifications settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Notifications tab. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first.

Turn notifications on or off

Under Preferences, turn In-app notifications on or off for each kind of activity.

  • Posts and courses: new posts and courses from portals you belong to, new lessons and your course progress.

  • Payments: receipts for your payments and failed charges.

  • Memberships: renewals, cancellations and memberships ending.

  • Payouts and Ambassador & affiliate: only matter if you earn commission as an affiliate or ambassador.

  • Account: changes to your account and payout account.

Prefer Telegram? Tap Connect Telegram, press Start in Telegram, then choose which kinds of notifications also go there.

If the creator has a Get updates sign-up on their portal, enter your email there and confirm it from the email we send you. When the creator's portal opens and says "You're subscribed", you're all set.

No. Your membership and access stay exactly as they are. To cancel, on the Member side open Settings, then the Memberships tab, and tap the creator.
