Your storage and video usage

See how much storage, video and watch time you've used, and what happens as you get close to your limits.

Your plan includes room for your files, your videos and the time fans spend watching them. Here's where to check your usage and what happens if you get close.

💡 Quick answer: click Settings in the left sidebar (on a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first), open the Subscription tab and look at the Usage this month card.

📊 Read your usage card

The Usage this month card shows a meter for each allowance:

Meter	What it counts	Resets
Minutes watched	Time your fans spent watching your videos this month	On the 1st
Video stored	The total length of the videos you have on AloPortal right now	Never: it goes down when you remove a video
Storage	Images, audio and files you have on AloPortal right now	Never: it's a running total
Email sends	Broadcasts and post or course emails this month	On the 1st
Alo AI credits	What Alo AI has used this month	On the 1st

A meter turns amber at 75% and red at 90%. Storage and video stored are running totals, not monthly allowances, so they don't reset. Your plan's exact numbers are in Plan limits.

🛠️ Free up video space

Remove a video you no longer use (from a lesson, a post, a section or your theme) and save. It stops counting toward video stored right away.

✅ Good to know: we keep a removed video for 30 days in case you change your mind. Undo, add it back or restore an older version within that time and it's still there (and counts again). After 30 days it's deleted for good.

⚙️ When you get close

We let you know at 75%, 90% and 100%: on AloPortal every time, and by email too at 90% and 100%.

At 100% of	What happens
Storage	Nothing on your page stops working. New uploads pause until you free up space or move to Pro.
Video stored	Your videos keep playing. New video uploads pause until you remove a video, add a top-up or move to Pro.
Minutes watched	Your videos keep playing for your members. New video uploads pause until next month, unless you add a top-up or move to Pro.

⚠️ Heads up: nothing here stops your page or your emails. At 100%, only new uploads wait.

💳 Get more room

Top up: at 100% the meter shows a Top up button. Add 10 extra hours of video for $5, or 5,000 extra minutes watched for $10. A top-up is a one-time payment for the current month, and your plan doesn't change.
Move to Pro for bigger allowances. The card shows the better deal for you first.

❓ Questions

Will my videos stop playing if I go over?

No. Everything you've already published keeps working, for you and for your members.

I removed a video. Why can't I find it anywhere?

A removed video is kept for 30 days but isn't listed anywhere on its own. To get it back, undo the change, add it back where it was, or restore an older version of the lesson or post that had it.

Does a top-up carry over to next month?

No. It adds to the calendar month you buy it in.
