What Links, Basic and Pro each include, and how moving between them works.

AloPortal has three plans. Links is a link page with nothing for sale. Basic and Pro both let you run a full creator business; Pro adds premium tools and a lower fee as you grow. Here's how they compare.

Each plan comes with its own allowances for Alo AI, video, email and storage. The Plan limits article has the numbers.

✅ Good to know: once you sell more than about $3,500 a month, Pro costs less than Basic, thanks to the lower fee. And every plan starts with the same three-month free trial, which includes everything in Pro with the trial's allowances.

🔗 Links: a link page, nothing for sale

Links is for a creator who wants the page and nothing else: every theme in the gallery, free pictures and video, the mailing list signup, your leads, views, clicks on every link, and 50 Alo AI credits a month. Posts, courses, email to your list, the Concierge and Discord or Telegram start at Basic. There is no Stripe setup, because nothing is for sale. The day you want to sell, choose Basic from any selling control or from Settings → Subscription, and everything you built comes with you.

⚠️ Heads up: moving to Links stops selling. Membership plans without members, products, tips and your affiliate program are kept but stop selling. Posts, courses and Discord or Telegram blocks are kept and hidden from visitors, and free-course students lose access until you move back up. The page says so before you choose. If members are paying you today, close your membership plans first (members keep their access until the end of their billing period), then choose Links.

🛠️ Move up (to Basic or Pro)

Open Subscription settings

On the Creator side, click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Subscription tab. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first to see the sidebar.

Click Choose Basic or Choose Pro

Scroll to Choose a plan and click Choose Basic or Choose Pro. You can also upgrade from any Pro feature in your portal, and on Links from any selling control.

Check the amount due

A window shows Due today: the exact amount, and the card it's charged to. It also shows what each renewal costs and the next renewal date.

Pay and upgrade

Click Pay (the button shows the amount) and upgrade. Nothing is charged until you do. Click Not now to leave your plan as it is.

Your new plan starts straight away and your billing date restarts from today. The unused part of your current plan is already taken off the amount due, so you only pay the difference. Stripe counts it to the second, so the charge can differ from the window by a few cents.

💡 Tip: if the window stays open for more than 30 minutes, or the amount goes up after you looked, nothing is charged. We ask you to try again so you can check the new amount first.

Open Subscription settings

On the Creator side, click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Subscription tab. On a phone, tap the menu at the top-left first to see the sidebar.

Click Move to Basic or Move to Links

Scroll to Choose a plan. Each column says what stops on that plan, named from what you built. Click Move to Basic at period end or Move to Links at period end.

Confirm the switch

A window shows the date the new plan starts. Click Switch on (the button shows the date) to confirm, or Keep my plan to change nothing.

Your current plan keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for, then the new one starts. Nothing is charged today and there's no refund for the rest of the period.

⚠️ Heads up: when Basic starts after Pro, or after your trial, your Pro features are hidden from your page, but nothing is deleted. Membership plans beyond your first 3 keep serving the members already in them and stop taking new ones. Move to Pro and it all comes back at once.

❓ Questions

Yes. When your plan changes, your new fee is applied to your existing members' subscriptions too. It can take a little while, and Settings → Subscription shows the progress.

In the Your free trial card on Settings → Subscription, pick Links, Basic or Pro. Each choice says what it keeps of what you built. Your plan starts when your trial ends. During the trial you have Pro's tools; on Basic or Links they switch off on day 90, and nothing is deleted.

No. Links is a link page: nothing is for sale and there is no Stripe setup. Choose Basic the day you want to sell; everything you built comes with you.
